Help clients with safe movement, transfers, and positioning in and out of beds, chairs, or wheelchairs to reduce the risk of falls and injuries.
Prompt clients to take medications as prescribed, assist with administration when appropriate, and observe medication adherence.
Prepare healthy meals and snacks based on clients’ dietary needs, preferences, and restrictions, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
Assist clients with daily personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral care while maintaining dignity, independence, and self-respect.
Perform light household duties including cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, vacuuming, and tidying to maintain a safe and comfortable living space.
Provide emotional support and companionship by engaging clients in conversation, activities, hobbies, and recreational interests to reduce loneliness and isolation.
Support clients with transportation to medical appointments, shopping, errands, and social activities while ensuring safety and comfort.
Provide temporary care and support to relieve family caregivers, allowing them time to rest or attend to other responsibilities.
Maintain clear and respectful communication with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and team members to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns.
Respond appropriately to emergencies, changes in condition, or accidents by following established procedures and seeking assistance when necessary.
